Jinu Sam Jacob has earned MSW from University of Calicut, Kerala and MSc. in Health and Behavioural Sciences from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. He has worked in organisations like Plan International, Save the Children, Child Rights and You (CRY) in the thematic areas like viz Education, Health, Protective Environment, Livelihoods, WaSH and Disaster Risk Management. He is experienced in partnerships management, program design and organizational processes/internal governance pertaining to Nonprofit organizations.
He has worked with the grass root organizations in building alliances and networks and also facilitated capacity building programmes to enable such groups and networks to engage in Public Policy and Budget advocacy initiatives. He has closely worked with the government systems and mechanisms in ensuring inclusiveness and sustainability elements pertaining to social development programs.
He is interested in subaltern cultures and related political discourse. He is a trained Psychological Counselor and Behavioural Therapist.
